A tangerine mojito is a nice little treat that can cool you down at any time. It is so delicious and refreshing.

It is worth mentioning that you can make this cocktail with tangerine concentrate or tangerine juice.

If you make it with tangerine concentrate, the taste will be even more intense, and you will obviously get more nutrients out of it. On the other hand, if you make it with tangerine juice, the taste will be a little milder because a certain amount of water is incorporated.

If you can not drink alcohol, just replace the room with sparkling water or lemonade. This way you get a sparkling cocktail.

Ingredients (for 1 drink)

  • Isbiter
  • Fresh mint leaves
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar (100 g)
  • The juice of 3 or 4 large tangerines
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice (30 ml)
  • ¾ cup rum or sparkling water (150 ml)
  • Optional: ½ teaspoon with grated lemon or tangerine peel (2.5 g)

Preparation

  1. First, take a glass and add as many ice cubes as you want. Then add 2 or 3 mint leaves.
  2. Squeeze the juice of 2 or 3 tangerines into the glass and add brown sugar. We do not recommend adding water because the ice melts and then the cocktail is watered out.
  3. Mix the tangerine juice with rum or sparkling water (what you like best).
  4. Then pour the mixture into the glass.
  5. As a decoration, you can either place a slice of tangerine on the glass or a teaspoon of grated lemon or tangerine peel.
  6. Serve immediately.

You can add more mint leaves when serving to make this drink even more refreshing. You can also mix 10 to 12 mint leaves with tangerine juice before mixing it with rum.

You can choose to do what you want, also depending on where you serve the drink. For example, if you are on the beach, it is advisable to add more mint to the drink.

Another interesting way to prepare this cocktail is to squeeze the tangerine juice and put it in the freezer so that it freezes. This way you just need to crush the ice, add mint and rum, then stir and serve.
